DecoFilm® Soft Metallics in Zebra — 12" × 20" sheet. The brilliant accent of precious metal with a smooth, soft hand. It is stretchy and very durable, and once pressed it takes on the texture of the garment instead of sitting on top like a foil.

How to apply DecoFilm® Soft Metallics

  1. Mirror your design and cut it with the shiny carrier side down (45° blade).
  2. Weed away the excess vinyl.
  3. Pre-press the garment for 2–3 seconds.
  4. Press at 310°F for 7–8 seconds with firm, even pressure — short and hot is the trick with metallics.
  5. Let it cool completely, peel the carrier cold, then cover with Teflon and re-press for 3–5 seconds.

  • Finish: smooth, soft metallic
  • Thickness: 75 microns / 3 mils
  • Stretch: yes — stretchable film
  • Layering: not recommended by the manufacturer — use as a single layer
  • Works on: cotton, uncoated polyester, poly/cotton blends, polyester/acrylic. Not for nylon or treated/dyed garments.

Care: Wait 24 hours before the first wash. Turn inside out, machine wash cold on a gentle cycle, tumble dry low. Never iron directly on the film — iron inside out only.
